Driving Directions: Argyle Arena Feed & Supply is located in the southeast corner of the state of Iowa. Directions from the north: From the north on Hwy. 27, head towards Argyle, IA. Bypass Argyle, and turn west (right) on 300^th street, or Ambrosia Lane. Follow 300^th street onto the gravel, over the railroad tracks, and you cannot miss us. From Hwy 27, Argyle Arena is approximately 1.5 miles. Directions from the south: From the south on Hwy. 27, head towards Argyle, IA. Before reaching Argyle, you will turn west (left) at the intersection of Hwy. 27 and 300^th street, or Ambrosia Lane. Follow 300^th street onto the gravel, over the railroad tracks, and you cannot miss us. From Hwy. 27, Argyle Arena is approximately 1.5 miles. Directions from Hwy. 61: Turn north on Hwy. 218. Go approximately 2 miles on Hwy. 218 and turn west (left) on 300^th street, or Ambrosia Lane. This will be the first major road on the west side. Follow 300^th street for its entirety, approximately 10 miles. You will cross the intersection of Hwy. 27 and keep traveling west on 300^th street. Follow 300^th street onto the gravel, over the railroad tracks, and you cannot miss us. From Hwy. 27, Argyle Arena is approximately 1.5 miles.	2008 Keokuk Saddle Club Events: Speedshow-May 4 Open Show-June 1, July 20, August 17 2008 NBHA Events: June 28-29, August 9-10 Arena Description Argyle Arena is an outdoor, dirt arena that measures 280’ x 180’. With such large accommodations, our arena is suitable for almost any type of equine sporting event from team roping to barrel racing to general riding. The arena is made of 10’ gate sections, durable enough to hold up against cattle, yet safe enough to ride your horses up against. A cattle chute, alley way, and holding pin is always set up and ready to use for team roping, while barrel racers enjoy the wide 10’ gate at the end of the arena for their use in runs. Cattle Argyle Arena uses only family owned and raised Corriente cattle. These small-stature cattle are designed and trained to be used for team roping, but can also accommodate the team sorter’s and ranch rodeo’s needs as well. Each cow has a set of horns that has been “tipped” by the staff at Argyle Arena, and each of the cows are sorted as needed during practices or events to ensure quality runs. Lights With 12 1,500-watt lights, our arena is usable during day or night hours to accommodate events no matter how long they need to finish. Timing Argyle Arena also has a two-story announcing and registration/payout booth. Our time keepers are guaranteed the highest quality seat in order to ensure accurate time results. Also, in order to maintain as much equality as possible, electronic eyes are used in most events so the stopping and starting points of the time are as unified and correct as possible. Seating Seating at Argyle Arena is on wooden bleachers, however, space is plentiful enough for your own lawn chairs and blankets to be accommodated if that is what you prefer. Parking Parking is also no problem. Since Argyle Arena is located on a 4-acre lot, there is plenty of room for all types of vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
